The [AK907] Ranking system has been discussed and refined many times in the past and we have been working diligently to create something that we feel caters to everyone. With this latest rendition of our ranking system comes a few changes – including what some are calling “pay for rank”. While it’s not really that simple, the founders believe that it adds some options that appeal to our members.
AK907 Ranks
Rank: White House | Monthly Contribution: Community Leader and Founding Member
Additional Info: The end-all/be-all for the AK907 Clan. All major changes, decisions, promotions, recruits, and all other factions that effect the AK907 Clan in some fashion or way are ran through the White House for final approval. To become a member of the White House, one must live and breathe AK907 Clan for quite a long time to even be considered. It is not a position one can be “voted” into and you must thoroughly impress those who already hold this position for many years before an invitation may even be considered.
Rank: General (Multiple-star) | Monthly Contribution: Captain/Team Lead
Additional Info: The member has met all the criteria to become Sergeant, has volunteered their time to become a member of one of the teams within the AK907 Clan, and has demonstrated various abilities in supporting AK907 Clan. The members of the White House rely on members of this rank to hold the community together and keep things working in the background.
Rank: Colonel | Monthly Contribution: $50 or more monthly donation
Additional Info: The member has met all criteria to become rank Sergeant (member for at least 3 months) and has signed up to donate a minimum of $50 a month to AK907 Clan.
Rank: Lieutenant Colonel | Monthly Contribution: $25 – $49 monthly donation
Additional Info: The member has met all criteria to become rank Sergeant (member for at least 3 months) and has signed up to donate $25 to $49 monthly donation.
Rank: Captain | Monthly Contribution: $10 – $24 monthly donation
Additional Info: The member has met all criteria to become rank Sergeant (member for at least 3 months) and has signed up to donate $10 to $24 monthly donation.
Rank: Second Lieutenant | Monthly Contribution: Volunteer
Additional Info: The member (at least rank Private) has expressed their wish to contribute to the community not through financial donations but by donating their time to be on one of the various teams at AK907. You may not be promoted to this rank as a Private or as a Corporal, but once you finish your 104 day “probationary period” through the Private and Corporal ranks, you may be promoted directly to Second Lieutenant without being promoted to Sergeant. Promotions to Sergeant Major of the Army may come at any time should the criteria for that rank be met.
Rank: Sergeant Major of the Army | Monthly Contribution: Distinguished Participant
Additional Info: The member has met all of the prior criteria and has been nominated for this position by other members of the AK907 Clan (rank Recruit or higher). The person being nominated for this position must have at least 3 (three) nominations by separate members and public comments are welcomed (meaning anyone can comment regarding the nomination). This rank, if achieved by anyone, would be carried throughout their carrier with the AK907 Clan as a “badge of honor”.
Rank: Sergeant | Monthly Contribution: Serving Member
Additional Info: The Member has met all of the prior criteria for the previous two ranks, and has continued to meet these requirements for a minimum of 90 (ninety) days (3 months). The rank Sergeant is a excellent way to distinguish between newer members and more seasoned veterans of the AK907 Clan.
Rank: Corporal | Monthly Contribution: Member
Additional Info: The Recruit has demonstrated a willingness to be a part of the community, has been a Private for at least 2 (two) weeks, has been on the AK907 TeamSpeak server on several occasions during his time as a recruit, and has posted to the AK907 forums (located at http://forums.ak907.net/) at least once introducing him/herself. Players are generally Corporal rank for a minimum of 3 months before graduating to Sergeant.
Rank: Private | Monthly Contribution: Recruit
Additional Info: The person desiring to become an AK907 member has filled out the AK907 Member Application (located: https://www.ak907.net/apply), has joined the AK907 TeamSpeak server and communicated with members of the clan ranking Sergeant or higher, has showing a strong desire to join AK907 and be a part of a growing community, has been invited to be a recruit of the AK907 Clan, has accepted the invitation, and is wearing the [AK] Clan tags. Recruits generally in this “review” category for a minimum of 2 (two) weeks before graduating to the “Corporal” rank.
Volunteer Positions
Along with the above ranking changes, we are creating different teams that our members can volunteer for. Entry into these teams is not automatically guaranteed just because you are a member of the clan – AK907 leaders take these positions very seriously and only consider applications for these positions after considerable review. That being said, members in volunteer positions are highly trusted and respected members of the clan – There is a zero tolerance for abusing members of these positions (admin abuse, rules 1 and 2) – on the other side of the coin, members in these positions caught abusing their privileges will be reduced to SERGEANT rank and will not be allowed to reapply for a volunteer position for 3 years.
